Meal Plans
Students living in designated campus housing are required to select a meal plan based on their assigned residential area. Meal plans provide students with weekly meal swipes and, depending on the selected plan, Dining Dollars and meal exchange options.
19 Meal Plan
- 19 meal swipes per week
- One swipe may be used during each meal period in Cunniffe Commons.
- $250 in Dining Dollars per semester (Dining Dollars do not carry over to the next semester)
- Includes one meal exchange per day
14 Meal Plan
- 14 meal swipes per week
- One swipe may be used during each meal period in Cunniffe Commons.
- $200 in Dining Dollars per semester (Dining Dollars do not carry over to the next semester)
- Includes one meal exchange per day
7 Meal Plan
- 7 meal swipes per week
- Swipes may be used during any meal period in Cunniffe Commons.
Meal plans reset every Sunday.
Meal Periods
Meal periods are available as follows:
Monday–Friday
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Dinner
Saturday–Sunday
- Brunch
- Dinner
Meal periods and dining hours are established by Dining Services and may vary based on the academic calendar, holidays, or operational needs.
Dining Dollars and Meal Exchanges
Dining Dollars may be used for purchases at The Market, Brickman Café, or to purchase a guest meal at Cunniffe Commons.
Dining Dollars are provided as part of the meal plan, are not reloadable, and do not carry over to the next semester.
Meal exchanges allow students to use a meal swipe at designated locations:
- The Market at Cunniffe Commons
- Brickman Café (breakfast only)
Meal exchange options, availability, and locations are determined by Dining Services and may be subject to change.
Meal Plan Requirements
Ann and Alfred Goldstein Hall and Greensboro Hall
- The 19 Meal Plan required and will be automatically assigned.
Ulla Searing Student Center, Keating Hall, and The Cove
The 14 Meal Plan is the minimum required meal plan. Students assigned in these housing areas will be automatically assigned the 19 Meal Plan and may select the 14 Meal Plan during the designated meal plan selection period prior to moving into campus housing.
Bridge Apartments, Bayou Village, and Palmer Quadrangle, Campus Houses, and Commuters
Students may select from any of the available meal plans – 7, 14, or 19 meals per week.

The Cunniffe Commons Pure (Delicious Without) Station is dedicated to avoiding gluten and the top 9 allergens. Guest Meal Passes
Students who do not live in the residence halls are welcome to eat in the dining hall on a per meal cash basis. Consult the dining staff for walk-in meal rates.
Dining Facility Policies
Removal of food, glassware, utensils, and dinnerware is not permitted without the permission of the Director of Dining Services. Shirt and shoes are required at all times.
Student IDs are validated for meal plans and must be presented to the cashier on a daily basis upon entering the dining hall.
Resident Dining Daily Menu & Additional Information
The meal specifications at Ringling College were designed with balanced nutrition in mind, but it is the student’s responsibility to choose items for a healthy diet according to individual needs. www.dineoncampus.com/ringling
Cunniffe Commons Reservable Meeting Space
Cunniffe Commons offers a reservable meeting room space on the 2nd floor. Reservation of this space can be done through Julie Darner in Student Life (jdarner@ringling.edu). Since this is a Dining Hall space with full access to food and beverage upon entrance, all attendees at the meeting during these meal times, Breakfast 7:30am-10:30am, Lunch 11:00am-2:00pm and Dinner 5:00pm-8:00pm, will need to have purchased a meal, be on a meal plan, or have had the meeting sponsor make arrangements with Chartwells for their departmental/club covering of the meal cost per participant. Exceptions to this will need to be arranged in advance of the meeting with the Chartwells Dining Services Staff (Maria Mallon Maria.Mallon@compassusa.com or David Byrne David.Byrne@compass-usa.com). If an individual does not have a paid meal, NO access to food or beverage is allowed.
